The Geneva-based cult band The Young Gods bring their signature industrial rock to Control next spring, March 13, touring their latest release, "Appear Disappear".

Rarely has a Young Gods album been so deeply infused with its era - one of military conflicts, mass surveillance, and intimate dramas. Since their inception in 1985, the band has pioneered musical landscapes that dared to fuse the raw urgency of rock with the power of electronics. 

Driven by a desire for something raw, this new album marks a shift from the atmospheric textures of 2019’s “Data Mirage Tangram”, as the band returns to a more direct and visceral form of expression. They embarked on a tremendous tour, starting this October and with a second leg next spring, just on point to mark their 40 year anniversary in the scene.

“Appear Disappear” captures that beating heart. The Young Gods honor their own history as much as their lifelong influences, from psychedelic rock to post-punk, from the swirling, very "Doors-like" “Intertidal” to the industrial rolls of “Systemized”.
